Bundeena Kayak and SUP is based on the waterfront of the pristine Port Hacking waterway in the coastal township of Bundeena in southern Sydney (just 50 minutes drive from the centre of Sydney). Perfectly located for a paddling adventure with bordering ocean bays, sandy swimming beaches and the diverse and beautiful Royal National Park. Bundeena is considered one of Sydney's top paddling locations and is also the gateway to the world class bush-walking tracks of the Royal National Park. Bundeena Kayaks specialises in Kayak and Stand Up Paddle Board Hire, Guided Kayak Eco-Tours , Kayak Lessons and SUP Lessons and Sales and operates 5 days (closed Mon and Tues - open public holidays). Bookings for all activities are essential.

Non-profit organization operates an eco-certification program to identify genuine ecotourism and nature tourism operators in Australia.

 

PaddleFIT sessions run regularly at Cronulla, Grays Point and Bundeena. PaddleFIT is a great way to keep fit while enjoying the popular sport of kayaking. No experience is necessary, however all participants must be competent swimmers and in reasonable fit condition.

Popular expertly guided eco-tour of Bundeena beaches and the stunning Royal National Park and a great start into the sport of kayaking. Whether the route on the day takes you to the secluded Cabbage Tree Basin, Jibbon Headland or the waterfront fringe of the Royal National Park, every trip is sure to impress!

Cost: $99 per person - includes gear hire and morning tea

Guided Kayaking Eco-Tours

Bundeena to Audley Eco-Adventure
Like to see more? This 1-way guided kayaking tour allows you to see the entire stretch of the Hacking waterway from the coastal beaches and bays of Bundeena to the upper reaches of the river at historic Audley. It really is a special day out and a great way to do it all in a day! Be spoilt along the way with a morning tea, a delicious bbq lunch and then jump on the bus for a transfer to Cronulla.
Cost: $150 per person   
When: monthly on Saturdays 9.30am-3pm

Bundeena is situated on the southern shore of the Port Hacking Waterway in the south of Sydney. The Port Hacking is an estuary fed by numerous small creeks, many originating in the Royal National Park and ideally explored by kayak.
The Port Hacking is credited as being the least polluted waterway in Sydney and is home to some glorious stretches of sandy swimming beaches, waterfront picnic areas and wildlife galore!
A gem of the waterway is most definitely the pristine waters of Cabbage Tree Basin and creek. This area can only be reached on foot or aboard a kayak or small boat, so the area is quiet and beautiful. This area is only reached on a high run in tide. Check with us for more details.
